I think it´s neccesary because all the people have to say that they want change the country. A lot of people haven´t a job and they have to pay their home, they need eat and help their family. I think it´s an injustice because all the people deserve a good life.

Now, in our country we are having the wrost economic and social situation on much time.A lot of families can't pay their houses and bills because they don't have incomes while the banks receives public money and large companies throw workes to earn more money by a cheap way thanks to laboral reform done by the last and current Government. So a General Strike is the workers and citizens way to stop the country and to make the Government change its politics. For all, I think it's neccesary and useful so we should do it.
ReplyDeleteI think general strikes are necessary because we have to fight for our human rights. But if Japanese demostrated than strikes are better working harder, why don`t we do strikes in this way?

ReplyDeleteI prefer don’t talk about politic because I’m from a country where the social conditions are quite differents, I’m from Colombia and my nationality is Colombian.

the strike is a right what the workers in spain have and should use, because it's the only arm what they have for fight for his bread.
ReplyDeleteMany people think that go to the strike are too easy but a worker who go to the strike doesn't earn money that day and this a big effort for many families.
Therefor I agree with the strike but i don't agree with the people who use the violence with the people who need to work.
I think a strike is sometimes necessary and citizens must have the freedom to express their opinions.
ReplyDeleteIn this case I think the situation in Spain is very bad and you have to take drastic measures to try to change things.
Strikes can be necessary, because it is a fundamental right for preserved other very important rights. But, sometimes, strike is used only for polític reasons and I think that there are other methods... Work harder as Japan to improve our economy is a good example.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone is free to do whatever they want. Therefore has to respect the opinions and ideas of each person and don't disturb other people.

I think strikes are neccesary because it's the legal tool of citizens to show their disagreement about the different aspects of society.
ReplyDeleteBut also, I think a general strike every six months isn't the solution to social problems. The strike really would get something if the continuity of the country (especially economically) were harmed during these days. Only one day of general strike is to show the social annoyance and dissatisfaction. Although, at least that's something!
Every day you can build other ways to make that social problems change.
The strike is a worker's right, so, Workers can do it when they think that it is necessary.
ReplyDeleteThe current problem in Spanish society is that, these strikes often take place and the citizens is getting used to seeing and listening in TV and newspaper. If every day, there is a strike, People couldn't realise the true meaning that it have itself.
At last, I think that this strike is really necessary, although the government doesn't pay attention the demands of the population.
Nowadays we have the worst situation in many years so I think is really necessary a strike because is the way to let the politics know that people aren't agree with the way they are governing the country.
ReplyDeleteI think that in general, strikes are necessary for that purpose, people protest if they disagree with the government and politician because they want to change their way of governing. In the last year the economics in Spain went very bad and a lot of people lost their jobs. It´s necessary that it´s change because a lot of people don´t have enough money and can´t eat.

ReplyDeleteBut the protesters, as in the case of today,should respect those who decide to go to work,because they also have the right to go to work.
Nowadays the Spanish´s economic situation is very difficult. We needs manifests that we are disappointed with the government but in particulary I don´t know if is the best moment for a strike?
ReplyDeleteI think that strike is necesary, but one day is not enough. Sadly, we have a lot of bad politician who want to govern in their own way, indeptendly of people's opinion.

I think that the strike of yesterday was a important date, because it was extended to all Europe. It has really made to understand the sickness of people, and I believe that a good organized manifestation can be important. On the other hand is the way that the people have to express its opnion.

ReplyDeleteSpain is still facing the rising unemployment, inflation mesures and working conditions are worsening. Is therefore that this strike is more than justified, although economic loss in a day of strike is astronomical and this situation further worsens the Spanish crisis.
In my opinion, strike is a way that people have to protest against political, economic and social situation when all this don´t represents people. The strike is a legal entitlement of the people, so they shouldn´t be repressed when they want exercise their rights. It´s true that many people use strikes as an excuse to be warm in their houses but i dont think that more hours of work as the japanese people, when they are making a strike, be the solution because we could also die by karoshi: dying from overworking.

For me it was very important. A strike shows the discontent of citizens.

I hope the politicians change their opinion about how way out of the crisis because the cuts in education and health, for example, aren´t the way.
I think strike is necessary to say the politicals that we aren´t agree wiht them and wiht the things they are doing. Spain is in a big crisis and they don´t do nothing for thr people wihtout work, house or something to eat.

I think the strike is necessary nobody likes to strike and lose a day´s salary in these difficult times, but we have to defend our rights and our system of public health and education. Our wellfare state is clearly in danger of extinction.The economic crisis is being exploited to remove the social rights that have cost so much.

ReplyDeleteI believe the strike is necessary for the loss of worker rights. On the other hand, the right to work must be respected by the union that manifest. I wish we had a modern unions as Germany, instead we have a group that does not make grants great management.
